What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and a bcrypt hash of your password (we never store your password itself).
- Your notes: the note title, day of the week, time and color you choose, and whether you asked to be notified about it. Notes repeat weekly — we don't store specific calendar dates for them.
- Notification subscriptions: if you turn on browser notifications, your browser gives us a push subscription (an endpoint URL and encryption keys) so we can deliver notifications to that device. We don't collect this unless you explicitly enable notifications, and you can remove it at any time from Settings.
- Basic request metadata: like most web apps, our server and hosting infrastructure see the IP address a request came from. We use this only to apply rate limits that protect accounts from automated abuse (e.g. password-guessing), and it isn't stored long-term or linked to your notes.
- Password-reset requests: if you ask to reset your password, we generate a one-time, time-limited reset link and email it to the address on your account via our email provider (Mailgun).
- Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): the sign-in and registration forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans apart from bots. Turnstile may collect information such as your IP address and browser/device signals to do this. What we don't collect (yet)
This app does not currently use any analytics or tracking service. If we add one in the future — for example Google Analytics, to understand overall usage patterns — we will update this policy first to describe what it collects (typically things like pages visited, approximate location from IP, device/browser type, and cookies or similar identifiers used to distinguish visitors) and how to opt out, before turning it on.
How we use your data
Solely to run the app: to authenticate you, show you your own notes, send the notifications you asked for, and email you a password-reset link when you request one. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Who can see your data
Only you. Every note, and every action on your account, is scoped to your signed-in account — other users of this app cannot see or modify your notes.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and every note associated with it at any time from Settings → Delete account. This is irreversible.
